A young teacher arrives to a village on the brink of a desert, which is slowly disappearing beneath the sand, stone by stone. There is no school. The children are running through murky alleys, constructing a garden made of broken mirrors at the village edge, while others converse with a spirit, hidden in a well, and dig for treasures buried in the sand. All the other inhabitants are either elderly people or women. And among them is a mysterious, beautiful young girl. The men have been lured to search for the boundaries of the limitless desert. Sometimes, you can hear them when the wind blows in their mournful and enchanting song of the long gone Andalusia. And in times you can see them like a mirage, wrapped in a sandy shroud, swirling through the infinite desert. Are they merely an illusion or the keepers of another world? Even the teacher who attempts to break the spell succumbs to the lure of the desert, and nothing can prevent him from seeking infinity.
