Control is the stamp in the life of Antonio Martins (Marco Ricca). As a respected theater critic, he embraces his career with devotion and dignity. His reviews translate his solid background and demonstrate a personality led by reason. Not a single detail around him escapes his observant analysis and his sharp reasoning, often full of cynicism. Everything and everyone seems to fit into the concepts he masters, even human relationships.

A fortuitous meeting at a bar introduces Antonio to a disturbing element to this order he feels so comfortable with: the lovely Inęs (Lilian Taublib). Uninhibited, attractive and bearer of several unexpected aspects, Inęs does not fit into Antonio’s rational schemes, therefore destabilizing him.
Inęs keeps an ambiguous relationship with painter José Torres Campana (Felipe Ehrenberg), an older man who exerts a fascination on her in which Antonio cannot interfere. Jealousy, which penetrates the slots of the narrative through a few theatrical stagings – punctuating the plot –, completes the scenario so that Antonio’s imagination bursts into new possibilities.
