A young man arrives at a remote Iranian village in the search of a teaching position and a wife. After succesfully completing his studies, he is convinced of the legitimacy of his claims and starts knocking at villagers’ doors. But they have different plans for the newcomer. Following a string of politically engaged films, which were all banned, Jalili returns witha seemingly harmless comedy, stoped in its tracks once again by Iranian censorship.
