The aim of The happy dv Workshop is to capture and present the festival happenings on film. It is intended for local film enthusiasts, which develop the practical and theoretical skills of the seventh art under the guidelines of the masters - the guests of festival, and produce their own short films. The contents of the films are always connected with the festival, while the form of the presentation is to be developed through the happy dv workshop.

The aim of the workshop is thus the revelation of the film making process, but also a search for unique and individual languages of expression. The workshop will take place during the time of the festival in Izola and its surroundings and each finished film will be a one-of-a-kind document of the festival.
